MEET SUSAN
Principal | Organizational Psychologist & Coach
For over a decade, Susan Otim-Neal has worked with a diverse range of public and private organizations to strengthen their performance and effectiveness. She has worked for Fortune 500 companies in key management consulting roles in Finance and Human Resources. A science-practitioner, Susan applies psychological theories and principles to business strategy to help clients achieve their leadership and professional development outcomes.
Susan designs holistic and evidence-based learning interventions. She collaborates with clients to increase their clarity, capacity, and skill, whether coaching leaders one-on-one to hone their self-expression and leadership skills, or facilitating meaningful group interactions to enhance team performance. From entry-level management to the C-Suite, Susan and her team have developed emerging and experienced leaders at Healthcare, Technology, Finance, Government, and global Nonprofit organizations.
A frequent presenter on topics related to communication, leadership, and well-being, Susan has been featured as a guest Coach or speaker at diversity leadership conferences, universities, and religious and community organizations. She has a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Bachelor's in Finance from George Mason University where she was also a Captain of the Women’s Basketball team.
An ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and certified Integral Coach® and Integral Team Coach through the New Ventures West coaching program, Susan also holds certifications in individual and team Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, Group Process Design and Facilitation, and various assessment instruments. She coaches to the human and organizational soul, supporting clients to bring their whole selves to life, and their best selves to work. Susan has been an active member of numerous professional associations and community organizations to include International Coaching Federation (ICF), Institute of Coaching (IOC), and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). She aspires to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8), and currently lives in Maryland with her husband and their young son.
