MEET SUSAN OTIM-NEAL, MPS, PCC
Principal | Executive Coach & Organizational Psychologist
Susan helps leaders expand their capacity, increase clarity, and become more skillful—particularly in navigating complexity, difference, and conflict. Her work spans one-on-one coaching to strengthen leadership presence and effectiveness, as well as facilitating meaningful group interactions that enhance team performance and psychological safety.

She has worked with Fortune 500 companies in key management consulting roles across finance and human resources. For more than a decade, Susan has coached business and healthcare leaders and teams, including scientists, researchers, technology leaders, and faculty across the Washington, DC area and beyond. Her work supports neurotypical, highly sensitive, and neurodivergent (Asperger’s/Autism) professionals in developing leadership capacity while working skillfully across differences.

Susan’s approach is human-centered, evidence-based, and results-oriented. She brings deep expertise in integral human development, leadership coaching, and team development, designing customized learning solutions informed by discovery interviews and assessments. Intrigued by—and gifted in—identifying the unique qualities that distinguish one human being from another, Susan is especially adept at helping people who think, communicate, and lead differently navigate tension and conflict in ways that strengthen trust, collaboration, and performance rather than erode them.

Earlier in her career, Susan served as a Staffing Manager with Robert Half International Inc., an industry-leading human resource consulting firm with over 400 locations worldwide. There, she designed and implemented staffing solutions for corporate clients and supported professionals through one-on-one career coaching and development. She began her career as a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., a leading management and technology consulting firm.

Susan holds a Master’s degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from George Mason University, where she was also a captain of the women’s basketball team.

An International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Susan is also a Certified Integral Coach® and Integral Team Coach through New Ventures West. She holds additional certifications in emotional intelligence (individual and team), leadership, group process design, and facilitation, and conducts debriefs of multiple psychometric assessments. Susan coaches to the human and organizational soul, supporting clients to bring their whole selves to life–and their best selves to work.
She has been an active member of professional associations including the ICF, Institute of Coaching (IOC), and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). Susan lives in Maryland with her husband and their young son.
