ABOUT 

Susan helps leaders expand their capacity, increase clarity, and become more skillful in the areas they are acting in — whether coaching people one-on-one to strengthen their leadership presence, or facilitating meaningful group interactions to enhance team performance. She has worked for Fortune 500 companies in key management consulting roles in finance and human resources. For the past decade, Susan has coached business and healthcare leaders and teams including scientists, researchers, and faculty at various organizations in the Washington, DC area and beyond. She supports neurotypical, highly sensitive, and neurodivergent (Asperger’s/Autism) professionals.

 

Susan’s approach is human-centered, evidence-based, and results-oriented. She has expertise in the areas of integral human development, leadership coaching, and team development. Leveraging discovery interviews and assessments, Susan brings significant experience in designing customized learning solutions to meet the unique challenges of individual clients. Intrigued by, and gifted in identifying the unique qualities that distinguish one human being from another, Susan enjoys figuring out how people who are different can work together more productively. 

 

Mrs. Neal was a Staffing Manager with Robert Half International Inc., an industry leading human resource consulting firm with over 400 locations worldwide. She worked in the Northern Virginia offices to design and implement staffing solutions for corporate clients, and supported staff with one-on-one career coaching and professional development guidance. Susan began her career as a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., a leading management and technology consulting firm. She has a Master’s degree in Industrial & Organizational (I/O) Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Bachelor’s in Finance from George Mason University where she was also a captain of the women’s basketball team.

 

An International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Integral Coach® and Integral Team Coach through the New Ventures West coaching program, Susan holds additional certifications in emotional intelligence (individual and team), leadership, group process design and facilitation, and can conduct debriefs of various psychometric tests. She coaches to the human and organizational soul, supporting clients to bring their whole selves to life, and their best selves to work. Susan has been an active member of numerous professional associations and community organizations to include ICF, Institute of Coaching (IOC), and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). She lives in Maryland with her husband and their young son.
